Money makes the world go around...world go around (2x)

I almost forgot to write this thing on…as the scribbler of this blog who ought to scribble out anything that’s being used by the enemy to fool us…Money is a sure thing I shouldn’t miss!

I was hitched with this phrase:

“Money makes the world go around

The world go around

It makes the world go 'round.”

Since I first heard it in our church…oh no! we don’t sing that song-----it’s just we used it for our church’s coming event that has something to do with that song…=)

So yeah! Since then I was hooked and now I couldn’t get myself out of it as it keeps on singing in my head, it just won’t stop!

Finally, it gave me reason to get a piece of paper and a pen to write it on…Earlier, I tried to dig its lyrics to find something useful from it-----but for a second thought-----never mind, anyway its first verse alone actually made sense at all!

Money.

or whatever it’s all the same, we aim for that thing!-----money…

I’m not a pope nor a priest but let me tell you this…

Matthew 6:24 (CEV) says

You cannot be the slave of two masters! You will like one more than the other or be more loyal to one than the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

As I see through it, money is being compared to God… Like money is important like God. Sometimes, we even missed church because we're out there working for tomorrow's sake! Even forgot to pray before getting up in the morning, we can't afford to be late!

As you could see the world since way back when----is fueled by money. Money makes the world go round-----it's just as true to say when money isn't moving, it stops the world. Things don't happen until money gives its permission. No money, no go.

Worse, it's also true that money sets the patterns through which human economic activity is organised, and those patterns are clearly destructive - of society, of human health and dignity, and indeed of the planet - our very ground of being.

What happened to the teachings that Jesus taught us?

Matthew 6:25-26 (CEV)

(25) I tell you not to worry about your life. Don’t worry about having something to eat, drink ,or wear. Isn’t life more than food or clothing? (26) Look at the birds in the sky! They don’t plant or harvest. They don’t even store grain in barns. Yet your Father in heaven takes care of them. Aren’t you worth more than birds?

and in Matthew 6:34

Don’t worry about tomorrow it will take care of itself.

So who needs money now? practically we need it! But with God there’s nothing we could ask for more… =)
